Default Ecoboost resonator delete

I know this topic has been covered... Is it worth doing a delete for $125 Canadian? How much sound diff does it actually make? Thanks

It doesn't make much difference. With no other exhaust mods it will have just a slightly louder rumble but barely. The only reason I know this is my 2011 Scab had a resonator and RCSB's don't have resonators so my 2014 didn't have one from the factory.

Maybe a slight difference but not much.
I gotta get my catless downpipe installed. I removed it from my 2011 before I traded it. That's a lotta turbo noise, I love it.

Ooooohhh, that'd be sweet!!! I had a 5.4 with all the mods. It was "drony". Don't want my new truck to be loud in the cab

I haven't heard an aftermarket catback on an Ecoboost that I've liked the sound of. But a catless downpipe is like sweet music to my ears.

I did mine its a little louder at idle, nothing huge and its louder under load. Cost me 30.00 out of pocket so I have no regrets.

Not that much, I am thinking about getting the banks exhaust later down the road but for now I am happy.

Check out this video, not mine but its a great video that made me decide to do it.
