I've got a Bully Dog cold air I can sell you. BTW, the plug gaps will differ with the tuner. I have mine at .028 with a tuner, seems to work really well. Some say .030... others .035. Write the customer service rep at whichever tuner place you decide to buy.

Honestly, and intake is not going to do anything but allow you to hear the engine/turbos a little more. Power wise, the factory intake is more than adequate.

Look into an SCT tuner like the X4 (7015) or LWTS (5015P) and either start with the preloaded tunes which are already a nice gain in the power department, but you can also get custom tunes tailored towards your needs.

As for spark plugs, gap them around .028-.032. I chose .030.

I have a AEM air filter. No need for a cold air intake as the stock one is cold air, and its pretty good.

Get the new motocraft plugs and gap them to .030, pay special attention to torque as they are easy to break.

I would also clean the MAFS.

A tuner will be your best bet if you want to increase MPGs

In 2011 and maybe 2012 the EcoBoost had a MAF but they used it for just the IAT, not airflow readings. Cleaning it will likely not change a thing but it was a good thought.

A dirty air filter and old plugs are likely the best first steps to resolving the gas mileage issue. Its also partially because of winter blend gas which has more ethanol, decreasing gas mileage.

I have a 2012 ecoboost, 6.5 bed with max towing package and pretty low gears.

The idiot computer shows me about 15 or so in mixed city driving. If I baby it on the freeway and keep it at about 60, the mpg goes up to 18-19 or so... according to the computer.

If I drive a lot on the street, mine says about 13-14mpg.

Its still better than the 2001 Yukon I was driving before. Besides, I'm now riding in much more style.

A quick tune up should improve your average. You are not going to get 20mpg, but you should be at 16-17.

Thats almost exactly what i get with winter gas in my 2014 4x4 screw w/3.73 gears. I get up to about 18mpg in the summer on the highway.

As soon as it gets cold mine drops to the 13 - 14 MPG range (2012 XLT 4X4 with tow package and 136k miles). I think it has to do with the denser air. the colder it gets, the worse my mileage gets.
