Default Ecoboost off-road

Just courious if you have the ecoboost, how does it still work when off roading and the turbo gets wet or if it completly submerged in water?

Wait...what??? You want to use an ECO truck like a real truck and bury it in mud??? How dare you!! How could even think of doing anything but drag race or tow with that twin hair drier???

If you want a real truck to use off road then as the saying goes... "I should have had a V8"

haha...no i have a 2010 fx4 5.4l...but i was just wondering cause i went mudding one day and started thinking about that.

How r the turbos gonna get wet or submerged . R u going in 4ft of water? there's no difference between a eco and a v8 other than it has more umphh n more POWAR. Lol don't worry about ur turbos though

Nothing will happen to the turbos. My talon(turbocharged) has an opening to vent off the heat for the turbo. When it would rain it would steam that whole time. Turbochargers isnt a delicate part that would get destroyed easily. Oil starvation will kill ur turbo n ur engine as well

The turbos will be fine. I'd be worried about the condensation issue.....
