My mileage has been about 2 mpg less, with the colder weather. Could hit 20 pretty easy in the summer.

I find that setting the cruise at the speed limit gives very good results. However, to get into the low 20's, I must drive 60 or less down the highway.

My boss and I share a S-Crew Ecoboost. He gets 16 and I get 22. However, I do that to mess with him!

My 2012 ecoboost with 5.5 ratio and 3000 miles has averaged 17.1. Not to happy with it as my 2010 4.6 v8 with 5.5 averaged over 18 and on long trips at 70 mph would often do 20mpg.

Razor, does your hand calculations come pretty well even with what the electronic says? I saw where someone posted that their hand calculations were very near to even with what the electronic calculation said; because of that I have not bothered to keep a hand tally.

I do know that I was surprised to notice that I got 26+ on the gauge while on a trip on county highways - about two and a half hours total and the speed was between 50-60 mph. My overall average seems to constantly run in the 18.7-9 range for combined driving. I am rarely above the 1700 rpm and I use the cruise a lot. This is as good as my S-10 was and now I drive a full size truck - so I am happy.

If I put in a full tank of hwy miles, the comp will usually be within .1-.3mpgs. If I put in a full tank of city driving it's about .3-.6mpg off, sometimes over, sometimes under. If I combine the two, the comp has been as far as 2mpg off.

I have a 2011 ecoboost with 2000 miles on it. Supercrew 4x4 with 6.5' bed, 3.73 rear axle. I'm getting 17.5 miles average mostly city and some hwy. On hwy I'm getting 20-21. I use 100% gas / no ethanol. I don't take off like I'm in a race and I use cruise control set at 60-65. Very pleased with the mileage compared to my 6.4 and 5.4.

I have 4,500 miles on my Ecoboost Screw. I drive a mixture of freeway (70%) and city (30%) and am getting a hair above 19.0 mpg hand calculated. The built-in guage shows I'm getting 19.2 so that's pretty close. I took a 400 mile trip from So Cal to Utah and averaged 22.1 (trip odometer) going about 75 mph.

I realize in order to get 18,20, 22 etc. you need to be in the 45 to 55 mph range, but with 4 adults this October I was seeing 16.5 to 18 mph. Not sure if it’s related to the colder weather or
I just got my eco before thanksgiving I took it to Fla driving 70 mph to 90 mph on the way back i got 19.3 i wanted 20 mpg but as hard as i ran it i am PLEASED

Default Eco 4 x 2 screw w max tow pkg

Getting 16 city and 22 hwy on cruise. Have 3200 miles on 2011 and am very happy with mileage. Towing 6000 lb travel trailer, she gets 8.5 with headwind and 9.5 with tailwind. After 50 years of living in Ohio, Iowa and Mass, guys, I really like driving without snow and salt here in Central Florida. And, winter camping is great too.
