Thanks for this thread. I will pay more attention to mine as well. I hope indeed it's "normal."

I agree with most of this and wouldn't be nearly as worried if I wasn't driving across the country. But, all I can do is trust them and see what happens.

what is normal? the way yours sounds? ya, i know... it sounds like it should. Mine does not.

it's not the same, but I appreciate your help. I don't hear any irregular tapping or knocking in that video. maybe you should try headphones when watching my videos because others noticed it.

Rdkev. Go to YouTube and type in "What does a high pressure fuel pump sound like". The EB is the only current F150 engine that has a high pressure fuel pump because it is the only one that has Direct Injection.

Al, all I know is that it didn't ever make this noise before taking it in this last time. I truly wish you could hear it in person. Post up a link of a video you think I should watch.

Not sure what the noise is, but it is 100% not an manifold leak. Doesn't sound anything like a manifold leak. Manifold leaks create a sharp, loud tick, that generally goes away once engine warms up. Look it up on YouTube and you'll see it sounds nothing like your video.

Ya I agree. The sound does not sound like that at all. Thanks for watching MEZERR.
