Seeing as Ford rates the mustang @400 on reg and 412 on premium 91. Seems like most of Ford's new engines have a reg and premium rating.

Where are you getting this info? The 5.0 Mustang is released from the factory with 412 HP. Ford doesn't say "only if" you use X octane.

It's not plausible for the 3.7's. It's a fact. 93 octane in the Mustang motors, both 5.0 and 3.7 will net you more power.

I have no doubt it's the same for the trucks.
5hp/4tq? Heh. I'll run the cheaper fuel.

It's more than that. Watch the video.

Also the two engines are different (obviously) so who knows what it'll be on the trucks.

You can't get your car facts from Wikipedia Let me say this again, ALL 2011 and up 5.0 Mustangs ARE rated for 412 HP from the factory. That number is actually a bit of a sandbag because they have been dynoed at 435 from the factory. You are getting confused by the automatic Camaro SS which has 400 HP compared to the manual SS with 426.

Err, ford disagrees. Sometimes. I don't think they can keep their story straight. Here it is 420 HP.

2014 shows 420 as well.
