Mine is all stock and I really enjoy the quiet ride when we go on trips. in my opinion V6s don't sound good with open exhausts. In the end it is your truck and your money and you have to like.

IMO, The only exhaust mod I like the sound of on a 3.5 Eco is a catless downpipe. It whistles like crazy and is quiet except at WOT.

If you find one that sounds good to you in person then go for it. Go through these same threads on motorcycle forums online videos are not a good judge of sound.
Having said that I'd just keep it stock.

I have the AFE system and like the sound. There seems to be a stigma in this thread that If you put an exhaust on an eco that you are "trying to sound like a V8". That's not the case at all for me. I like hearing the exhaust note of my ride and I appreciate the engine for what it is.

Surprised nobody mentioned the Corsa system... I have the Corsa resonator delete and Corsa system with the dual black 4inch tip on it.
You need to tread wisely when your looking into the responses thou. Everyone hates the Ecoboost because it doesn't sound like a V8. I never thought mine would, and I'm fine with that. Everyone who has heard mine have said it sounds like a mini diesel.
You can go on YouTube and listen to plenty of sound clips for the Corsa system. No drone either.

Count me in the minority I guess. My truck sounded worse than my wife's edge prior to exhaust. Can't do the car thing on a truck but I deff can see what everyone saying that means. That being said my heartthrob/DP combo doesn't sound like a v-8 but it wistles a lot and is throatier which I like. In the end to each their own.
