You have absolutely nothing to back up this statement except opinion. The fact of the matter is the OP has a blown engine and wants to know the feasibility of a swap to a 6.2. The straight answer is it is not feasible.

SDHQ did a eco to 6.2 swap in a Tremor.

This will easily cost you 2 to 3 times the amount to than simply buying a remain bottom end. It is likely that is all you would need to replace. If oil went everywhere I would bet money you broke and tossed a rod.

Going that route you reuse most of the expensive parts. A good shop could have the swap done in a couple of days max.

If you are truly concerned about future reliability you can buy a remain with better parts but I don't think that is needed. Any quality remain would address potential issue and come with a warranty.

Unless you have the knowledge and skill to tackle this yourself, I would say go back to stock with a new bottom end and enjoy your truck for years to come.

The guy doesn't even know what he has. Furthermore when the Edge tuners first came to the market back in 2011 timeframe, along with the Bullydogs who were the first, there were several instances of known engine failures due to both of those tuners.

If everything happened as the thread starter said it happened, then my bet is it was set to run way too lean due to this alleged Race tune he has and knock sensors and WB O2's couldn't account for it. Bada boom. Big bada boom.

VERY rarely is a tuned engine going to blow and it not have something to do with the tune itself. It is certainly possible, but I'd be surprised.

Default ecoboost is a reliable daily driver engine.

That being said I too had my engine replaced. I don't think I could deal with the slowness of the 6.2 after having a 3.5 ecoboost. Sure the spec numbers are higher but the torque curve of the ecoboost can't be beat. And tuned, well there's no comparison.

I think you'd be looking at some pretty good work in modifications to make it work though.
Put it against my 5.0, i will drag the eco boost across the country, with a trailer on the back. The ecoboost dyno is a proven test. Put that 3.5 block under a load, and the already hot running v6 will have some serious problems. Adding more moving parts, to an already complicated motor, is asking for trouble, if you use your truck, for what a truck is made for. Matter of fact, the ecoboost “raptor” will also get smoked like a scalded dawg, with my straight up 5.0, 4x4, 6 speed trans, and with 3.73’s. In my opinion, the ecoboost is a selling point to fool the buyer. My 5.0 has 280,000 miles on it, and will still drag those pieces of crap ecoboost to the moon and back. I hope I’m not hurting feelings, but if you swap, swap to the 5.0. I don’t think you will regret it.

Do you feel better now that you have replied to an 8 year old thread with that incoherent mess.

lol uh oh we got ourselves a bad *****
I won't even go into how uneducated and emotional driven that response was.

dude obviously has never owned an ecoboost. Speaking of hurt feelings, looks like my comment got his panties in a bunch if he's dredging up a thread this old. I love it lol
