Ecoboost to 6.2L swap

You have absolutely nothing to back up this statement except opinion. The fact of the matter is the OP has a blown engine and wants to know the feasibility of a swap to a 6.2. The straight answer is it is not feasible.

This will easily cost you 2 to 3 times the amount to than simply buying a remain bottom end. It is likely that is all you would need to replace. If oil went everywhere I would bet money you broke and tossed a rod.
Going that route you reuse most of the expensive parts. A good shop could have the swap done in a couple of days max.
If you are truly concerned about future reliability you can buy a remain with better parts but I don't think that is needed. Any quality remain would address potential issue and come with a warranty.
Unless you have the knowledge and skill to tackle this yourself, I would say go back to stock with a new bottom end and enjoy your truck for years to come.

Boost :)
If everything happened as the thread starter said it happened, then my bet is it was set to run way too lean due to this alleged Race tune he has and knock sensors and WB O2's couldn't account for it. Bada boom. Big bada boom.
VERY rarely is a tuned engine going to blow and it not have something to do with the tune itself. It is certainly possible, but I'd be surprised.

ecoboost is a reliable daily driver engine.
The failure rate of the f150 ecoboost is still only around 1%
That being said I too had my engine replaced. I don't think I could deal with the slowness of the 6.2 after having a 3.5 ecoboost. Sure the spec numbers are higher but the torque curve of the ecoboost can't be beat. And tuned, well there's no comparison.
I think you'd be looking at some pretty good work in modifications to make it work though.

lol uh oh we got ourselves a bad *****
I won't even go into how uneducated and emotional driven that response was.
dude obviously has never owned an ecoboost. Speaking of hurt feelings, looks like my comment got his panties in a bunch if he's dredging up a thread this old. I love it lol
