Can y'all here the turbo in the Ecoboost. I love the sound of a turbo especially on my Saab 9-3 2.0T. I can hear it very well with the windows up or down and passing on the interstate. I love the performance of the ecoboost but I want to be able to hear it too.

You can hear the blowoff valves from time to time....can't really hear the turbo's at all from my recollection. They are after all very small turbo's on there so that might explain it!

You can hear the blow offs while in the truck if you are really getting into the throttle. If you are driving with the windows down and there is a solid wall to one side of the truck you can hear the turbos a little bit. You have to let off or get into the throttle just a little to hear the pitch of the whine change. Like Flama Blanca said they are small turbos, but they do the trick.

Challange
I have not received my truck yet (on order) but I challenge you to help out inquiring about intake, turboback exhaust and a good tune. you will here the turbo whistle and the intake then, these trucks would be really awesome with just those light modifications. Please don't start talking about warranties, I know most people are scared of voiding them but I have every one of my trucks modded mildly (in my opinion) and ford has fixed every warranty issue. If anyone finds the parts, I will order and install ASAP and let everyone know how it goes. I too would love the sound of my turbo, I love the jet engine sound from my diesel and the breathing/spooling of my wifes STI, not a throaty V8 but gets the wow effect.

I have only put 700 miles my ECO but I can hear them with the windows down at slower speeds or with the radio turned down but they are very faint under most driving conditions.

I had an EB at the drag strip on the weekend and at WOT you just heat the faint whistle of them spinning at 100,000 rpm (too cool!).
Not sure about a pop-off valve. I was too heavy on the brakes to notice. It does decelerate well though...like really well.

Blow off valve or pop off valve. Makes a loud nois when the TB closes the boost has to go somewhere.
