Still worried that I might be less of a man because my new truck doesn't have a V-8! LOL. Who doesn't love that V8 sound. Hopefully my trips to the pump are less frequent than with the 14mpg 2002 Dakota I drive now. If it does get the mileage I hope it does I will forget about the missing cylinders! For new I'm left waiting for the new car smell! BTW another Canadian from Ontario here!
i came from a 2011 dodge cummins, have not regretted my decision yet. i love this eco boost, i thought i might have the v-8 ego problem too, them i remembered i have only owned 1 v-8 ( duramax) rest have all be TURBO CHARGED 6 CYLINDER trucks so i knew i would be right at home with my ecoboost. truck does everything i have asked it to do. averaging close to 18 mpgs right now. love the truck. so will you

I just got an FX 2 screw ecoboost and am loving it. I haven't had any shuddering or anything but I only have 1300 miles on it. The power on this thing is eye opening. I wasn't expecting it.

Less of a man? Bah!
It's all about performance not quantity of cylinders. ;-)
I'm loving my Eco. So far just over 25000 km and lifetime average is at 18 mpg or 13 L/100km for us Canadians.
Where on Ont are you?

I traded a 2010 Scab with only 15,000 miles for my EB. Had a few problems with the SC, but the main reason I traded up was for the EB. Oh, and the Lariat Plus Package. Oh, and the Screw upgrade. Oh, and the leather. Oh, and because it's a beast.

Regrets? N - O - N - E!

I had a 2007 duramax and I loved that truck. but I'm vary happy I made the trade. I did not need all that power and cost of a diesel. To me the Eco is as close to a diesel in a half ton as you can get. I love having v8 power at low rps and higher mpgs. You have made the right move. I know I will not be looking back. Pulse this trucks drives like a luxury car so nice on a long road trip . Nothing like the lumber wagon feel of a 3/4 ton.
