Actually what's funny is it sounds better than almost every kit i've heard. Just need to tighten up that tone maybe dumped a little further back with 4" tubing would't sound too bad.

Mr400. Little loud but I'll give it the break in time. Definitely a large power gain. Damn thing spins the front tires on 4wd launches now...

Sounds like crap.
Anyone who puts an exhaust (or takes the stock one off for that matter) on a 3.5TT is an idiot, there's 2 other V8's in the lineup for that. I haven't heard one exhaust for the Boost that sounds good past 1500 RPM

To any other EcoBoost owners out there who might be going through a tough time right now:
There is a slight possibility that you might NOT actually be an idiot if you changed the exhaust on your truck. Or if you even thought about it. That's right!!! YOU MIGHT BE NORMAL!!!! I know!!....it's a lot to handle...BUT IT'S TRUE!!!!! I hope I made your day by helping you realise this. Hold your heads high, friends... you deserve it!!
Jcain: congrats on the new found power. You'll see a milage boost too, if you can stay out of the loud pedal. Have fun.

I am in the idiot club also, apparently. I just ordered the 4" MR400 kit from SOLO. From everything I've read and listened to, this seems to be the highest quality, best sounding system out there. I was intrigued at first by the Heartthrob system, but the low quality non-stainless piping and in-cab drone scared me off. I spoke with Jeff at SOLO and he was a pleasure to deal with. He mailed out my system same day and only asked that I post my experience when I'm done. I am confident the sound and quality is top notch, I am only concerned about the install process, which doesn't really sound that difficult.
I should be receiving my new exhaust early next week, and will install it as soon as I can. I will post my results when I'm done. I am told the sound improves as it gets some miles on it, so I may not get the full effect immediately.
As far as the comment that I could have bought two different V-8's if I wanted bigger sound, that's true. But I bought my Ecoboost for the torque, horsepower, economy, speed, towing capability, and durability; not the sound. It is far easier for me to get all those qualities in an engine I want and adjust the sound later, than it is to compromise on everything else I want just to get an engine with good sound right out of the box. I may not have the best sounding engine out there, but thanks to this new exhaust I should have a better sounding engine, plus everything else I want in a truck. (I don't think that makes me a complete idiot)
