Yes, I run it frequently. Ford reports a mild peak horsepower and torque gain, but the real gains are down low in the power band. The 5.0 loves corn juice, and you'll feel and feel a difference!

That said, your mileage drops alot, but it's cheaper making the net effect a little more expensive to maybe breaking even.

Don't forget to run a tank of regular every third tank. The manual says to do this.

I have not used E85 yet but I have heard that at altitude, using E85 will increase gas mileage.

Our local news here loves to make articles on ethanol and fails to report the drop in MPG every time. The closest was "gasoline has more power." And many Iowa farms are not even owned by Iowans. Such baloney.
