With just the switch and module I should get the rear locked in 2H up to 19mph. 4H and 4L unlimited. To add a seperate off-road switch I would just need to wire a switch to ground circuit CCF11. I'll look into that later, but just 2H until 19mph and 4H/4L unlimited gets me what I want(me having more control of my truck).

That will be perfect!!! Do you think it will be bad for the locker to be locked at higher speeds? or is that stuff basically the same components as the raptor?

only 19mph huh, I think that I would like it to be locked at faster speeds ten that. I would really love to be able to use a factory lookin switch but if 19 is the limit, I think I will still run my own switch.

What situation do you see a locker being useful above 19mph?

well, I will probably get lectured because that is how this site works, but I still enjoy some drifting in the snow or a good burnout every now and then. I don't plan on taking my truck mudding anytime soon, but I have not owned a truck yet that didnt see mud once or twice when we get the right group of buddies in the right spot and shooting rooster tails would be going faster then 19. I have one buddy that has an 04 powerstroke with a programmer on it it and to beat his burnouts I will need to be going faster then 19. It isn't like this is an every day occurance, I am just saying that 1 time a year when me and all my buddies turn his street into a bleach box, if I am going to go through the trouble of doing this mod I might as well do it where I know I don't have limits.

So please don't tell me how to use my truck I do not want this thread to turn into that. Myself and most of my buddies have fast cars or really fast cars that we have are fun in, but sometimes we like to have some fun in our truck too, thats all this is about for me.

How dare you ruin a perfectly good f150. I cant believe this crap. You shouldnt be able to own a truck if you cant take care of it. hahahaha jk

I like having fun too. Just figured I would mess with you lol

Relax...it was a simple question....

To be honest....to beat your buddy's 04 diesel with a programmer's burn outs, you are going to need more than an F150 with a locked rear end...

To lock the rear without any restrictions you are most likely going to have to wire up a different switch.

I like to bomb my truck around the sand dunes from time to time.. after a whole day of riding a cold beverage and some high speed action in the Ford is always a good time!

For the sand.. 2WD is the most fun, as long as I could use the locker!!!

I would see speeds of excess of 80mph and would like to have her locked up for the most forward push I could get. I followed around 2 Raptors my last trip out over Presidents Weekend and never fell behind

Just FYI for those wanting to know WHY?

The only reason the f150 won't lock the rear diff is the switch to the guy who works for the dealer your doing to much work and spending too much money the raptor switch is different and won't fit there is a gate in the factory switch thats stops it from pulling out I've taken the switch apart and cut the gate out but took to much out and the switch spun 360 and burnt it up a 250 switch 2010 model allows to lock rear diff in 2wd swap guys from 150 into housing of 250
