E-Locker Override Mod?

Just wanted to add my experience. Just did e-locker override mod on my 2010 fx4 and I can't wait to use it! I know it works, light came on and I could hear the "click" from the rear. Special thanks to Ben at Tasca Ford. I had the wrong tccm delivered (communications error my part and theirs). Anyway, he sent me the right part as soon as I told him and he even gave me a shipping label to get the part back. Bottom line, I'm happy with my new mod! Btw, wrong tccm will give you a wrench on the dash and say check 4x4

Do a search for "Chilton's". One of the results is a post from Ymeski that has a link to Chilton's Online. You might find that schematic there - its got the entire repair manual for most makes, models, and years.

Finally did this mod. I just added a switch with a diode. It works very well. I have the locker locked anytime I swich the switch on. The factory switch still works the same as always. No lights or messages on either. The only time the "check 4x4 system" message comes on is when I have the factory switch on and my switch on at the same time. Other than that works perfect. Just cut the tan/purlpe wire coming out of the tccm and added my diode and power wire. Here is a pic of my switch

The off road switch is an on/off switch that the driver selects when desired. I'm not sure how much of the features you will get by adding the off-road switch. From the Ford scv manual:
Off-Road Mode
The SVT Raptor comes equipped with a special off-road function. An off-road button is located on the floor console. A light on the button illuminates when this feature is activated.
NOTE: Off-road mode is specifically calibrated for off-road driving conditions and should never be used on pavement.

- When off-road mode is engaged, the AdvanceTrac settings are altered for optimized off-road performance.
