Default dynamat

Has anyone used Dynamat or like product? How well does it work for sound deadening? I want to use it on my back cab panel.

I have used it and sold it it does very well. It will get rid of the tin sound you have. It is a useful product when you have a lot of bass and panels start to vibrate..
But yes I like it and use it, but I now use a much less expensive sound deadner that comes in large boxes. Like 9 sheets of 18"x32" in a box I did my wifes whole 06 mustang and it helped a bunch... Pm for pricing but compared to Dynamat it is cheaper....

Ive used a product called Grace Ice and Water shield made for roofing applications, pretty much the same thing but way cheaper and works just as good.

The entire cab interior of my '65 F100 was done with Dynamat. I was absolutely amaze how much quieter it was afterwards. Anyone that has ridden in one of these old trucks know how noisy they are.

I did the roof of my Expedition using a Dynamat copy-cat product that I bought at Fry's Electronics. It helped quite a bit deadening the sound of heavy rain and hail which is useful when I'm out severe weather spotting.

Not sure, I was roofing at the time and we got it from a specialized roofing supply store, It might be a little high end for home depot or lowes, but they would probably have something similar. We got it in big long rolls though and you wouldnt be saving any money if you had to buy the whole roll, maybe they have shorter runs for smaller roofing applications or else your best bet would be to go to some roofing jobsite and see if you could get them to cut ya off a whatever ya need or check the prices of what gilroy is talking about.
