Default Duratrac vs BFg tko

Hey sold my nitto trail liked the look and tread pattern but couldn't stand the road noise a little to loud for my preference plus didn't really need a 10 ply tire. Can anyone give some info on which of the 2 tires would be quieter at ighway speeds looking at size 285-60-20 thanks

I have 275/65 20 duratecs and they do make some road noise, they are far from silent on concrete but by no means the loudest aggressive tire I have owned.

I'm not at work to check that for you but I'm pretty sure both of those tires in that size are E load range.

Okay just checked our inventory online the Goodyear is an E load range and they don't make a 285/60/20 BFG TKO. There is a 285/65/20 but it's still E load range.

You could do the 285/55/20 BFG TKO as it is only D Load Range but it's only 32" tall and I'm assuming you want taller tires than a stock 4x4.

I have 315 70 17 duratracs and love them. Very small difference between them and my destination le's (highway tires) that were on previously. There is a difference yes but nothing unbearable and you still get to keep that aggressive tread pattern with the duratrac.

Cool thanks for the info. How much louder are they than the stocks that came with the truck?
