Default Duratrac Questions. Anyone have the 275/60R20 SL yet?

So Im currently running a 275/65r20 Duratrac thats a E load/10 ply. Love the height of 34". Hate how heavy and stiff they are. 56lb per tire

I see they have a 275/60r20 now that is 33" and has a 4ply rating with 2700lb carrying capacity. 46lb per tire

Anybody have these yet? How do they ride? They have to loose up some ponys and MPG's over the 10ply.

Would be great to hear any reviews before i pull the trigger.

Thank you,

I bought the Duratrac 275/65r/18 back in September (stock size for my truck). Got about 5,000 miles on them and have no complaints. I did have floating feeling on the highway first 500 miles and went away.

I just bought 4 275/70r18 duratracs as well, wont be installed till spring as Im currently on Firestone Winterforce LT Studded tires for winter. I wanted the 275/65r18 but they were more than the 275/70r18s

I have the 275 60 20 and they are great. Used to have the LT275 70 18 on my last f150, also great but don’t really need an LT for the odd time I tow. The 75 60 are noticeably a lighter tire but I went from a 18” wheel to a 20” so not sure of the weight with wheels and tires. They handle great on pavement and gravel. I would recommend them. Had them just under a year.

I also have 275/60R20 Duratracs. So far they have been great, barely louder than the stock bridgestones and noticed almost 0 loss in MPG's. I am averaging about 17 right now with the truck in my signature(max tow so it has 3.73 gears and weighs 6150lbs empty.). In the summer its usually better. I do also have a very small level with the bilsteins.

I have noticed they are softer feeling than the stock tires so I do run them at 40 psi to help stiffen them up a little and help with turn-in on corners. I currently have ~33000 miles on them and they have been wearing well. I also tow a 24' 5500 lb travel trailer and they have been very stable.

I have no experience with the 275/65's so not sure how drastic the difference will be. I know the 275/65's have a deeper tread and when I have seen the E-range ones at the store, it seems the lug spacing is larger/more agressive. I imagine they may be a bit louder and have more rolling resistance than the 275/60's because of this.

Its too bad they dont have a C range 275/65R20. I am currrently running 265/70R16's on my jeep but wanna move to a 265/75R16 next spring. They make a 265/75R16 in both C and E range. Same tread depth and everything, the C range just weighs 6 lbs per tire less and has a lower weight rating.
