Default Dumbo Mirrors and Speakers Installed

Chrome Haters - Don't look!!!!! I'm warning you....

I'm afraid my mileage will drop now with these huge sails hanging on the doors!

And... the Infinity's are in the doors - sounds soooo much better!
I told Laurel I put new speakers in and she says "Speakers...?"
I said "You know me!"
Then, pointing to the 4 factory POC speakers she asks "Can you sell those?"
I just laughed and said "Those are garbage. And I mean garbage. They aren't worth fifty cents!"

I gotta change that license plate frame

I just did the same thing but with black mirrors and boston speakers. The mirrors get smaller as you get use to them now after a week I love them. I had big doubts about them at first tho.

I like it! They give the tuck a heavier duty look lol. How are they compared to the regular mirrors? (visibility wise)

The main mirror doesn't seem to give as wide of a view but it is plenty.
The lower mirror...eh... I see a lot of the truck and the outer 1/4? reflects the inside of the housing. You'd think that you'd get a great big wide view but the mirror curves so much back into the housing that it really isn't as useful as I thought it might be.
The lower outside corner of the housing should be cut back.
I would rather have the smaller mirrors extend with a stick on spotter.
I'll post a couple pics tomorrow.

Be careful when you are driving next to parked cars/trucks. If one of them has the same mirrors, you ARE going to have to move toward the left of your lane.......don't ask me how I know.....but I DO know these mirrors in black are $175 (with blinkers and puddle lights) over the counter at my Ford dealer.....don't ask me how I know....

I am planning on taking them off after our summer camping trips.

Do you happen to know how much it costs to replace tow mirrors...on...other...brands...of...trucks?
