I totally understand! I built this truck online for almost a year...kept on being pushed into a FX2 if I wanted a Supercrew 5.0 with painted bumpers! Then one day I could keep it in the STX, AND get my black interior AND a console!! I was in love haha

Our "twins" will have to meet some day haha-where are you located?

The factory Harleys are nice but I think they are rather bland for a 22. For me to sacrifice any ride quality I'd have to love the wheel

DJM and slam air it!! I think a Platinum would look so good low

I have a picture of the part number on my old phone...if you PM me tomorrow I'l try to remember and look it up. All you need is the valence itself and have it painted to match your color code

We race at Northstar Dragway up in Denton all the time, it's essentially our home tack since Kennedale sucks so bad now

So last week I got my Hellwig rear sway bar in but haven't had time until tonight to put it on (end of the month is always busy in the shop!) We have done a bunch of Hellwig installs for customers, and I have personally run them perviously and loved the difference they've made. The quality, fit and finish and the over all feel of this kit is very very high-I won't bother going into much detail because you kind find all the detail you need on our kit here in this awesome thread by BMWBig6 ... https://www.f150forum.com/f38/produc...y-bars-233896/ I just did the rear because that is where we've always seen the biggest difference what with our trucks not coming with one in the first place. I was curious to see if there were going to be any issues with the truck having a flip kit 5+ inch drop out back but am thrilled to say it fit just perfect! Installation of this kit is extremely easy and I was very happy with it!! The change in handling is MASSIVE during any sort of cornering-there is a huge improvement in body roll and the truck stay planted through turns so much better. It is easy to carry a good amount of speed through a turn now where before I'd have had to hit the brakes, and it is much more responsive. I felt no more harshness through the suspension than I had before and cruising down the highway the truck acts the same as before. Over all one of the best handling modifications you can do, and not very expensive at all-under $300 with free shipping from Amazon!! Pictures to follow....

That's awesome. I have been wanting a swaybar on the rear ever since I lowered mine.

I'm in Arizona, maybe once I finish my other truck I will head out your way for a show.

Ha I got my rear sway-bay yesterday, gonna be awhile till I put it on.... Its cold and wet and will be getting colder. The Limited actually handles really good for stock, way better than my 2010 Platinum did stock. Think I am just gonna drop the rear with shackles for now. Later, I may drop the front 1 inch with Limited OEM 2wd shocks.

Truck is coming along nicely. It's really tempting me to look into the djm 2/4 kit for mine.

Hellwig sway bar is def a easy and relatively cheap way to get it to feel more sporty

Is the Limited suspension different from the STXs? Just dropping the back a couple inches does make them look better-I parked next to a stock height 14 STX Sport yesterday and man they are two totally different trucks! I like mine so much better compared to stock. And yeah, today was a COLD Texas day...wind chill near zero today reminded me of college in Syracuse, NY!!

Thank you very much I think a 2/4 drop is a real good look-I just wanted more low hahahaha.

I think she is just about done for a while...looking forward to summer and possibly a Procharger set up to add some power, but for now I like where I'm at. As a daily driver I love it. The optional Kicker subwoofer it came with gives me enough bass to make me happy enough to not change anything there, and the current drop is a perfect compromise between looks and ride. The truck pulls hard and sounds good with my Roush CAI/Corsa cat-back combo and it looks good with the FX wheels, FX front valence and the painted emblems/no stickers. All I am missing is a bed cover (probably go with a Truxedo LoPro) and I think she'll be just about perfect! For now...
