Default Drop Shackles on 2014 STX Screw

Just put 2" drop shackles on my new STX. Sits perfectly level. Slight vibration at 20 mph. Hopin that some pinion shims will fix it. And just got my painted badges back on.

Looks really good!!

I installed 2" drop shackles on my 2013 as well - I like the level attitude better.

Here's before - on the dealer's lot:

And here it is leveled out - much better!:

I didn't have any vibration problem.

BTW - when driving at night, if you get a bunch of flashes from oncoming traffic, your lights may need to be lowered just slightly - very easy to do.

Very nice! I had actually considered dropping mine. Don't know how that would work with 4wd in the front though.

I love this look. Really wanting to do it to my RCSB 4wd STX. Check out the Ford Racing M-3000-G kit. It's under $100 some place and comes with the shims.

I just recently installed a set of Belltech drop shackles and shims on a new 2013 FX2. Drivetrain has no vibrations at all. Ordered shackles and shims off Amazon.
