Droid X giving me issues with Sync
#12
I have something for you to check. Do you have wifi enabled on your phone? If you do try turning it off. I have heard that the Droid X does not prioritize the wifi and bluetooth well. Your phone will constantly be searching for wifi signals and interept the bluetooth signal. I work at a Ford garage and a friend of mine was having this same issue on her 2011 F-150 Lariat Limited. There have been no issues since we turned the wifi off.

My friend that was having this issue on her Lariat Limited has a droid x with the standard android operating system. My wife was having this same issue on her Escape. I was running the Bugless Beast Rom on her Droid. Switching the wifi off on her droid also fixed her problem. Hope this will work for you all as well.

I have a DroidX running standard OS and not having any issues like this. When a new txt comes in it says "voice listening" or something like that and never switches back to the radio. I have tried giving it the "read new msg" command but no luck. I have to hold down the hang up phone button on the steering wheel and then push the sync menu button to get it to read the message. Am I doing that wrong?

Just got a DroidX yesterday. Switched from a BB Bold. Not sure if I am gonna keep it. It works great with my sync though. Even read my text messages to me as they came in. So that was cool.

Droid X, 2009.
Mine has been working fine for awhile up until two weeks ago it stopped streaming Pandora. Everything else works (phonebook, texts, etc).
I've un-paired, re-paired, master reset, pulled battery. And the audio still won't stream. The only thing I haven't tried (which I will be today) is pull the Fuse for Sync.
