Default Driving with spare

So I go to get a slow leak fixed this morning on my front passenger tire. Guy takes me back there after 30 minutes and shows me this:

Crappier than having a cracked wheel is that I have to drive 12 hours round trip this weekend...

Is it ok to drive on the stock 18" spare with 20" wheels? I know they're the same diameter... just curious if its ok.

The question is how big is the tire, not the wheel.

He said the circumference was the same as the 20s wheel and tire.

If the circumference of the 18" wheel and tire is the same as the 20" wheel and tire it's replacing there isn't a problem. Even if it's smaller it should be ok. The only way it might be an issue is if it was a drive wheel (rear right). Your speedo could be off. If it's a front there might be lean.

If the OD of the spare is the same as the other tires, you'll be fine, if they're all inflated the same

if the spare is a smaller size it would be ok to use of the front if you are not using 4wd. I just wouldn't drive a super long ways like that.

I would take a close look at that tire also. That wheel cracked probably due to a
pothole, iffin you look at the tire the outer shell of the sidewall is also damaged
to the right of the tire marking crayon mark. the tire liner may be starting to do
the same thing. I would not trust that tire.
