Drivetrain lash/slack -- before I go to the dealer, a question

My 2011 F-150 truck with 14K does the very same thing. When I drive to town which is three miles away and if I get stopped by the 1st or 2nd stoplight when it hits second gear it jerks in gear hard. After the trans warms up it never does it again. I've also noticed if I back out of my driveway (uphill) and take off it will jerk occasionally. I've taken it to my dealer twice and they were no help at all.
