Default So where is the problem

I have had the same issue with the drivers side speaker cutting out (actually it would be better to say it cuts on - because it is off more than on) since day one. Dealer said there wasn't anything wrong....over and over. Then I found out there is a tech bulletin out on this. Of course it is way out of warrantee so they won't fix it. And, Ford said sorry not our problem.

So, where is the problem? Do I need a whole harness, or just replacing the speaker with a different plug fix it? The dealer says it is a $350 plus fix. Seems like B.S. to me.

Lol go buy some $100 speakers from crush field. Com and they even give you the connectors free. There you go easy as pie and takes like 20 min a door to change.

Didnt see this mentioned, but water loves getting down inside the door on the rear of the speakers. I had bad crackling/fading on the driver door less than one year after purchase. Added dielectric grease on all speaker connections (soldering would probably work too) but this fixed my issue
