Question Interior foot well lights.

I want to wire up some LED lights down by my feet on driver and passenger sides. The LED strip lights I have are adhesive.

Where and how have you guys installed them?

Any pictures?

I want them to turn on with the interior light switch and when the doors are open.

Where's the best place to tie in the power?

Thanks.

I have the driver side light power wire running over to the passenger side and then tied into the big green connector.

The adhesion worked for me on one side, the other side needed help so I used the clamping style paper clips.

ill get pics on lunch.

The leds I used are about 4" long with 6 leds per strip. These provide me enough light without blinding me where I open a door. What you might want to do is wait until dark to figure out a good place to mount. My truck has the console.

Autozone 12" strips. Comes in a pack of 2. Wired into the Gray/Purple wire underneath the driver side step panel so it turns on when the interior lights come on. They come with 3m adhesive on the back so I just stuck them to the metal dash supports.

Thanks guys. Got them wired in. Made a bracket on the passenger side out of tin to stick the led strip to. Worst part was getting the led to stick to plastic on the drivers side. Ended up sticking it to the metal bracket of the OBD connector. Kept falling off when stuck to the plastic.

I did it the same way, but then they fell so I used a paper clip to hold them up, the black one with the silver arms.
