I have a 2011 screw with 2300 km's (pretty new still)and ran into this problem this morning. I used the command start to start it and when I went out to go to work and unlocked the door it would not open. I hit the unlock on the key again and still no go. I tried the back door and it opened no prob. The door **** thingy was up like it was unlocked but would not open. It had been snowing a lot lately and i thought maybe it was frozen or something. But when I jumped in the passenger side and pulled the door handle inside it opened no problem. So this all happened again after work. I had to do the same thing. When I got home I played around with it and no dice. No matter how I unlocked it with the command start or the key it would not open. Anyone run into this before?

ps, got her booked into ford on monday already. and I'm kind of mad about the whole thing

Does it open if you don't remote start it? Maybe the linkage fell off inside

Nope, I tried every which way at home and it was not running.

Linkage came loose most likely, that sucks, should be an easy fix, still you don't expect these things to happen on a new truck.

Some how over the weekend it fixed itself. It blows my mind because I tried everything on thursday and it would not open. Guess I'm losing my mind. But will have to see if it happens again
