Driver side rear door lock is intermittent

I have a 2013 FX4 crew cab. My rear driver side door lock sometimes works and it sometimes doesn’t. It doesn’t matter if I use the lock button In the cab or on my key. Any ideas on what this could be? Thanks!

I bought a new lock assembly but it was a broken wire at the harness. Same door. Fortunately I couldn’t get the door cover off and brought it in. Returned the part.

Just checked the wires and they are all prestine. Maybe the actuator is going out?
