I have a 2014, defroster and heat work well for me, never had cold feet in this truck. Used to have a 2004 Nissan Titan and it was an issue.

I just drove for ~4 hours tonight, with a bunch of stops, outside temp from 13 F down to 10. I had to run driver side at 68, passenger at 70 just to keep from sweating. (that's not exactly high heat) On Auto the whole time, which mostly blows on the feet, I believe.

Feet temp just fine, like the rest of me.

Truck info in sig.

My 11 will melt my shoes it feels like. Try like you said blocking up the passenger side a bit.

Any luck with the dealer?
It has been cold here, I keep feeling a cold draft down by my feet, almost like a air leak. I am getting hot air out of the drivers feet vent, just not enough to compensate for the cold draft.
Just wondering if anyone has found out any more info?

I live in Minnesnota as well, I too have noticed the lack of heat on the drivers footwell area. It doesn't help that the little woman is going thru menopause and wants it on cold and the window open either...... Last night she said: "it's 65 degrees in the house: who turned up the heat?"

Any noise when you turn it on? Here's a thread:

As an addition to my earlier comment, and this is now testing the last week with temps below zero F, I will say that putting the system in floor+face gives very little to the driver's feet. But still very happy with Auto mode, even below -10. Only Floor mode was also fine.

There's got to be something wrong if some of you are on Floor only and can't get warm.

This morning it was 23 degrees on the way to work, I always use mine on floor only, which blows hot air out the floor vent (by the drivers right foot) and side window vents. I had to drive with the driver window half way down because it got so warm in the cab, but a steady cold breeze continues to blow on my feet, and my feet were freezing still.
I think I've pinpointed this issue to cold air coming into the cab by my feet under the dash, I just can't tell where from?

So I did not have this issue in my 2011. My left got a little cold while my right foot was quite warm. However I noticed in my 2014 that the amount of hot air coming out of the drivers side is far less than in the older model.

I can hear the air pumping out on the passengers side, so I am half debating going in and blocking off 1/2 of the floor vent over there to see if it helps push more out my side. My wife likes the truck cold, while I prefer it hot with a window open.

Has anyone else attempted to fix this issue?

I keep seeing you guys post positive numbers for temperature... Then I remember to think in Fahrenheit...

I've had similar issues with my 2013 XLT. I can't make one side hotter than the other, so I'm stuck making my passenger's feet melt off while I'm trying to feel mine again. I'm thought about blocking off about 1/3 to 1/2 of the passenger vent to compensate, but I don't know what kind of repercussions it'll have to the entire system
