Default Driver door lock switch failed

So, yesterday I went to lock the truck using the switch on the driver's side door and it wouldn't lock. It locks with the fob or passenger side door, just not the driver side. The driver side switch will unlock it just fine, so I don't think it's a connection issue. I have to assume it's a failed switch. Is the switch separate, or do I need to replace the whole set, windows, lock, etc? I'm sure it's not overly complicated to get in there to do the job, just looking for advice on what I'm getting into. I don't use the switch very much, I usually lock it using the fob.

Inspect the wiring between the door and the cab. Pretty common for the wires to break, usually resulting in loss of power locks. You can pull back the protective weatherstripping boot (whatever it's called) and should be able to see if anything is broken.

I bought a new switch. Took less than 2 minutes to change, problem solved.
