Default Driveline problem?

Greetings All,
I discovered this forum after taking delivery of my 2010 F150 Screw late last month. Lurking here has provided a number of great recommendations including purchasing of a set of WeatherTech digital mats. Here's my dilema. After 1200 miles of driving, I'm very satisfied with the performance of my truck except for one problem. In stop and go traffic, after coming to a complete stop, I notice what feels to be movement in either the driveshaft or rear differential. Almost as if there's a delay in the process of stopping these components after the wheels/tires are completely stopped. Upon acceleration, the truck moves forward and then a there's a momentary sensation of the driveline reacting or grabbing. The action is very suttle and someone else driving the truck may not notice what I've tried my best to describe. I have an appointment to have it checked out with my dealer later this week. In the meantime, has anyone else experienced this or am I just too sensitive???

I too have noticed this issue on my 2010 Screw. Please keep us updated on what you find. It's becoming more annoying as the months go by.

Same issue as here? Sounds like it.

FYI this is one of many threads on this apparently....this was just on the 1st page of this forum so it was even easier to find.

Do you have the limited slip axle? I've experienced the same thing and kind of assumed it was the LSD, or possibly torque converter, engaging/disengaging.

I do have the limited slip and you may be right about the engaging/disengaging. I'll check the owners manual to see if it mentions anything about that with the LSD or the tranny. As trucksolutions.net mentioned earlier, its just annoying. I read the thread Driven1 referred to and can relate to the hard up and downshifts between first and second gears. The downshift may contribute to this as well.

I have it too. It seems to come and go... If I have a few days of real bad stop and go, it will come back for a few days until I have a few days of clean driving and it goes away again.

I also feel this on occasion and I do have the LS rear axle. I found that mine only does it when the brakes are applied then let off to go. If for some reason the break peddle has been let off for a short time and then hit the gas it will not do it. My thought and it mite not be wright is as soon as the back disc breaks ware in and get to where they won't be so grabby this will go away.

My reason for referring to the other thread was...what they were discussing is the same thing you're asking...so whats the need for a new thread?

FYI...I have the same problem and read in the other thread there's a TSB which may or may not fix it (most likely not), they can reflash (and possibly make it worse) and Ford is working on it....this doesn't answer your question in your thread? There are other threads about it as well.

It's the slip yoke needing to be re-greased. I had mine taken care of today while getting the oil changed. Problem seems to have disappeared.
