Question Which Drive Shaft Do I need?

Hey y'all,

I have a 2013 F-150 Fx2 5.0L, and I need a new two piece drive shaft. The issue is every time I look for one I cannot find one specifically for this make/model/trim. I didn't know if I can just use one that would fit on a 2013 Eco-boost or not, or just use one that fits the standard 145 in shaft length.

Do you have a 2 piece shaft now? If so, measure both pieces if possible (typically done u-joint to u-joint) and compare to the ecoboost shaft. My guess would be that the 145"wb 2wd have the same driveshaft length. 4wd is most likely different (145" 4x4 has a 1 piece rear shaft)

edit: I also wouldn't expect the trim level to matter on the driveshaft length.

Yes I have the 2 peice shaft and I’ll check to see if my shaft is the same length. But yeah I’m looking to see specifically it a ‘13 5.0 two peice truck will accept a ‘13 eco two peice shaft.
