I just started hearing a noise, almost like a goose honking quietly for lack of a better description when coming to a stop and taking off from a stop. I don't have a clunk or anything else though besides once and a great while a couple clicks, (almost a tick sound) when I get on the gas from a stop. Is that "honking" sound when stopping and taking off pretty much the norm with these trucks?
After hearing that it comes back after TSB I wonder if it's even worth the hassle to have dealership look at it..

Have you hit any geese lately, Sirikenewtron? J/K! Seriously though, I would mention this to your dealership so they can get it documented and diagnosed. Let's see what I can do to help from my neck of the woods as well. What's your truck's model year/mileage?

Thanks for the quick reply, Sirikenewtron. Let me know when you head in to the dealer; I'll be able to check out ways to help once you've received a diagnosis.

Went to the dealership today and it is fixed (well at least for now drove home and no more clunk)

Here is what they did according to paper work

Check and report- from a stop transmission making a
clunking sound and clicks forward

Clean and lubricate the splines of the driveshaft
slip yoke

9L3Z 4W602A Kit - Drive shaft BO
TA 25 B Adhesive

Cause Check into cause of clunk sound from
Transmission, Found TSB120713A

Correction Perform 120713A, Lube driveshaft Slip Yoke

130107 Recall PCM

130107A Reprogram the PCM

Added note: I let them figure it out with telling them there was a TSB
or anything and they did it without asking. BUT Last time I
was in for oil change they said My front lower ball joint was
out of spec, I didn't touch it cause I knew there was nothing
wrong, And there was no mention of it this time, Either they
were lying to me last time or They didn't do an Inspection
this time. Gotta love Ford Service

I gave up on Ford service at two dealerships. One tried to sell me almost $600 worth of service. They admitted that it wasn't required when I told them all the owner's manual specifies is an oil change. I quit going there. I also found that my unused spare had been swapped for a used one. I'm losing my faith in humanity too...arg

I notice an occasional clunk in my 2014 RWD. Guess in the past 4 years, they still haven't "fixed" it. At least now I know it is not something unusual.

Is anyone else having this problem in their new ford f150?
Mine was doing this those crazy dudes at ford charged me a 100 bucks to lube the u joint clips wtf lol but it hasn't done it since
