Default Wheel Stud Replacement

Ordered new rims and tires.. went to do the install and the company sent me 14x1.5 lugs. I was unaware that I needed 14x2. Using an impact drill I started my install and of course destroyed the threads on the stud. Bought new lugs and finished the rest of the install but I'm left with one stud that does not have a lug on it. Done some reading and I've read some people say you can replace it without removing the axle very easily. But some say the axle needs to be removed (Which I am not skilled enough to even attempt). Is it possible in the 09+ f150s to replace a stud without having to do this? Thanks for any help

I replaced a wheel stud on the front. I removed the caliper and rotor and was able to get at it.

Should be able to pound it out with hammer. Take your time you don't have to do it with 4 hits. A little at a time and then it will pop out. You can Generally reseat them by cranking the lug on really tight, do this with your spare steal rim so that you don't mess up your nice aluminum rim. As it may gall. Have fun!
