Cant believe I didnt see this thread earlier.

My passenger side outer handle was doing this on my brand new 2012. Turns out the door lock actuator was faulty. Had it replaced under warranty. I'll have to dig up the work order and find out exactly what it says.

My 2013 Platinum is doing this on the drivers side door only. Guess I will have to take it in and see what they can do...

My 2013 driver side door does this 10% of the time, it's not consistent. I'll have them fix it when I get my first oil change.

I have a double, triple, sometimes quadruple pull parking brake release before the brake light will go out

They put a new lock actuator on my about 2 weeks ago. Hasn't done it since.

My 2013 supercrew has done it on the drivers door since day 1. The dealership looked at it today. They ended up order a door handle. I sure hope that's it and not the actuator.

I've got the same problem, maybe 10% of the time. I took it to the dealership and they can't/won't do anything about it because it doesn't happen when they try it, so in their words, if they can't replicate it they can't be sure I'm telling the truth. Went to a second dealership and they said the same thing... :\

For the three of you with the 2 pull handles. Did you try disableing auto lock with the controls on the steering wheel and see if that changes anything. Might at least isolate the problem as electrical or mechanical in the door mechanism

I took mine in and they replaced the "latch solenoid assembly" and that fixed the problem. (Parts list was Handle Asy, Latch, Cable) This is their first vehicle that has done this at the dealership and they reported on my service sheet it was a solenoid issue that was part of the latch assembly so they had to order the whole assembly. Hope this helps everyone that might be having issues.

I did mention to the dealer when I dropped off the truck the first time it might be a locking actuator or solenoid because other people reported this problem and it fixed the problem for them... whether that helped or made them mad I tried to tell them what to look for but it’s fixed now!

Took it in for an oil change today and mentioned the problem.

Response was "Can't duplicate the problem. Lubed lock." Nice. I'm going to start using my phone to video every time I open the door so I can capture the problem. Then they won't have to worry about duplicating it - I can just show them!
