Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but how many times do you look at it? My 2012 was quiet, the 2013 is definitely quieter. But either way the F150 is the quietest truck I drove between gm/chevy, dodge, nissan, and toyota.

I'm not sure if the ford/f150 logo is etched on or a sticker. It could be that you could pull it off and replace with a custom f150 sticker.

My '12 FX4 AP does not have Sound Screen--but my wife's '12 Edge Limited does...

Mine has it. 2012 Platinum (I think all the Platinum's have it)

Yup, that be the dealer I bought it from.

Highly recommend them, they bent over backwards to help me any way possible. Then I handed them the check and they held the door open for me as I left.

I think you hit the nail on the head. My glass guy has been calling distributors for 6+ weeks trying to find the Carlite windshield with f150 logo for my truck and hasn't had any luck. They are telling him Carlite has had a shortage of these for months. They are supposedly just now getting them out to distributors. My insurance company wont let me get the soundscreen one with the ford logo since its not approved for a 2012 model, only 2013.

My 2013 stx trim regular cab has the sound screen windshield. I was surprised as to finding out. Thought only higher trims had it.

Just a heads up if you do have sound screen. It also includes the drivers and passenger front windows, which in my wife's edge is $500 Canadian.

My 2013 KR had it and I broke it within 250 miles of taking delivery. The glass guys couldn't find a replacement Sound Screen windshield so I told them to put a standard glass in there. It's definitely noisier on the highway, I wish I had just waited.
