Door Sill Protectors. WTF?

Back from the dark side
Right, that is the part I added over the painted sill. The one above it covers the wiring harness, and comes standard. They come with 3M tape underneath. Real easy to install, just shove them up under the weather stripping and push them in and then keep some pressure on them until the glue on the tape sets. I think AVS makes them.

The piece I am talking about is a black piece of plastic that goes over the painted part of the body that's in front of the plastic protector that says F150 on it on the front doors. This protects the paint from being scratched whilst getting in and out of the vehicle. I'll take a picture when it gets light out.

I've had my truck for 7 months now, and just noticed that only the passenger side front door in my XLT Screw has the factory door sill protector on it. My driver's and both rear doors do not have them. I've heard of a couple other people missing them from their trucks.
Is this a common problem? I'll be going to the dealer this week to get it resolved.

I am not talking about the plastic covers that are over inside the cab that have the wire harnesses running underneath. I'm talking about what is circled in red below. I only have one covering my front passenger door sill, and not on any other doors in the truck. There should be another one on the driver's sill, and from what I gather, there should not be any from the factory on the rear door sills.
Correct?
