Just to provide more information, I had a heck of a time trying to find the stage 2 wires under the drivers side kick plate of a 2013 SuperCrew.
Tried the Violet/White and Gray/Brown first and nothing worked. From the diagram above, it shows the Violet/Gray and Gray/Brown. So I changed the Violet/White to the Violet/Gray and the lock button started to work, but no unlock.
I search for other Gray/Brown wire on the drivers side. I ended up taking the drivers rear door off and trying to measure resistance to trace the wires under the driver side kick plate. I could find the Violet/Gray but not the Gray/Brown. Validated splices and did a bunch of other stuff to try to find the Gray/Brown wire to no avail.
I started looking under the passenger side kick plate and could actually see where 3 Gray/Brown wires were spliced into one and figured these had to be the door unlock. One of them looked to loop back forward and probably went to the front door, while the other 2 probably went to the 2 back doors. Is there some wire trough in the back of the cab to get wires from one side to the other?
I added a length of wire from the drivers side under the dash where my wire came in from the tailgate to the passenger kick place and spliced into the Violet/Gray and Gray/Brown wires and everything worked great.

I just installed my PopLock, an hour ago. The instructions only tell you to tap into the wires, but no colors given. I've been a member here for a while and my Google search brought me to this thread. Surprise?
Once I got the colors off here, looking in the passenger cable tray, I found the colors. BOTH the lock and unlock were configured the way you described. It's easy to find them because they're the only wires in that big bundle that have a 2" section of heat shrink, where the wires come together in a bundle. They're very easy to find.
This is something that should come factory on these trucks.
I love it.
