Angry Door lock programming question

Does anyone know if you can change the door locks so that when you get out of the truck, all doors unlock?

I can't tell you how many times I have got out and then tried to get in the back door only to find its still locked.

You aren't alone... I've had my truck for over a year and I'm STILL not used to this.

The truck I drove for 10 years before this one unlocked everything when you put it in park. What a novel idea..

If you guys go into the message center, there are the settings for this and a few other usefull items such as only pressing the fob 1 time to unlock all doors,as well as the "auto" settings.

Have you checked the owners manual?

On mine i just change it in the system menu. I have to hold down the button.

In this screen

And it lets me change all that stuff. My doors unlock when i get out. Mine is an STX too...so i know it can be done on higher trims

The doors all unlock when you take the key out. The problem is only when you get out and leave the truck running, and need to get into another door.

I read the manual and couldn't figure out a better way

Haha! Hope it works for you. Mines a '10...they may have changed something for yours if you have an '11 or up. I know they changed a bunch of stuff between '10 and'11.

If all else fails you can shut the auto lock to off.

There must be since mine all unlock (in when's the using the tonneau and the tailgate) when I open the door after parking, although I am unsure of where you would change that.
