well never in my life have I gotten a car inspected or my dad so maby in your state... the only time we have gotten cars inspected was smog checks for new cars bought in mexico and imported to the u.s or new cars bought in las vegas nevada and imported to the us. but on cars that we purchase here on the us we get no inspections we just get the plate stikers by mail and put them on.

intresting? here in tx after the 2 years from point of buying a new car we have to take our cars annually to shops to do inspections they check random crap like wipers, tires, ILLEGAL TINT lol make sure no check engines if it basiacally has broken neccesities and what not u dont pass inspection and cant legally drive on the road, although around here its not hard to find a shop that either just passes it without looking at it or comes out starts it turns it off and passes it lol

haha wow I had never heard of anyhting like that before that must suck if you have illegal tint. all of our cars have something illegal on them haha starting with all having ILLEGAL TINT lol, The only time we have failed one of those test was when importing our 2011 gt500 from las vegas to the u.s because we had put an 'illegal intake', 'illegal mufflers plus headers' and of course illegal tint.

I live in LA and passed inspection with 5% tint all around except sheild. 10000k HID heads in stock housings, you should be ok. I have also never gotten flashed or pulled over/ticketed for tint or HIDs. I also have blue LED courtesy lights and have driven in front of cops at night.

Why would you tint the windshield if it is difficult to see when driving at night? I may be missing something... But I just do not get it. I would hate to be in a situation where I got in an accident.... Possibly take someone's life.... All because of tint I put on my windshield that made it difficult to see. ...... But hey.... Man do I look cool. Good luck defending that.... Better have a good attorney.
