Default Done w/ the Pirelli's

IMO, these could be the worst snow/ice AT tire I have ever had on a vehicle. 22,500 miles on them and this morning they are getting replaced with Michelin LTX M/S2's.

Thought I would feel the same way about mine and have a good excuse for new rubber. They did surprisingly well in a recent 5" snow. They have slightly less than 12k on them and will probably get replaced before next winter.

I'd agree. The recent snow-ice we have had they did just fine in. I have never had an issue with them in rain either. In short, I haven't experienced any of the major 'issues' most describe with these tires. Sure, they don't look great and don't have a very aggressive tread BUT they certainly are not the end of the world.

We just got 12" of snow and I don't have any complaints with these tires yet. I can get up my driveway that is pretty steep in 2 wheel drive no problems. My old truck had Toyo MT's and I had to put the truck in 4 wheel drive to get up my driveway.

Guy at the dealership told me when I took my truck in at 20k miles he's had several problems with these tires reported already. Mine were wearing unevenly on the in an outsides they called it "feathering" they had to be replaced at 25k miles. Went back with 285 BFG T/O's so far so good.

The Pirelli tires I had were probably the worse tires I've ever had on a pickup.

They are wearing well on my 11 fx4 but I just can't stand the road noise off of them anymore. My truck doesn't even have 15,000 miles on it. Has anybody else's make alot of noise?

Mine howled like a beaten dog on anything other than asphalt. Good choice on the Michlins, you will absolutely LOVE them.

Make sure to stand on the brakes a few times before you switch the tires...I have tried to sell mine and nobody will buy them, even at $200 for all 4 with 90% tread. Makes me regret not having some fun with them first.

These new LTX M/S are very nice even though only driven in town so far. I know one thing for sure, I never have seen a truck tire w/ 70,000 mile warranty like these have. Crazy!
