Default Dogs on leather

'13 Fx4 screw here. Is anyone allowing their dogs on the leather? If so, how is it holding up? My dog is about 30 pounds And I've always had the seats up in the back so she would have most of the floor. Seems like she would enjoy the view from the seat more...

Hell no! I flip the larger rear bench up and have weathertech mats. Now if I can just keep her off the door arm rests to look out the window I'd be all set!

Ive had both of my 70 pound labs in my truck a couple times and them on the leather doesnt bother me. Its the snot on the windows, hair every where, and muddy paws on the doors that bother me

My dog is 90lbs and i let him on the seats all the time. He's my travelling buddy. I do put a blanket down if I know he'll be getting dirty. No issues at all

Leather is one of the most durable and easiest to clean materials. I do not have leather in my truck nor would I ever in any truck I will own in the future as to me a truck is meant to be worked and not gawked over like a sports car. I have had leather in multiple cars in the past and have never had an issue with pets riding with me.

I put one of the hammock style protectors in both my f150 and escape,. has protector panels for the doors and keeps the pet contained to the back seat area

I nearly always let my 4 legged riding companion sit on the front seat leather................ But he is only a 5 pound Yorkie.

make sure those nails are trimmed.. leather cleans up great, but if the dogs long nails scratch up the leather, then that's a real pain in the at that point. id rather tuck a sheet all around the seats

Leather is great for easy hair removal. I didn't want to take a chance with my labs nails so I put in a mud river barrel mat. Works great.

A good quality dog hammock will cover the seats very well. I just lay the front part of mine down on the floor instead of tying it to the back of the front seats.
Put a sheet or old blanket on the floor.
Put up a pet net barrier to keep the dogs in the back seat.
I have 2 hairy Corgis that weigh about 30 lbs each and a long haired Dauchsy. They all shed heavy duty but enjoy the ride. Once a week I pull out the hammock and sheet then use the leaf blower to get rid of the hair. Works good and the truck still looks like new inside.
