I've been looking around for an f150 to buy and came across this used 2011 FX4. It does not have the power sliding rear window, which to my understanding is the only setup that has the rear defroster. My previous 2011 XLT with the solid rear window did not have it. Looking at the pictures, it shows the button for the defroster (which my XLT also did not have). Question is, do these trucks come with the defroster on solid rear windows for the higher trims? Or do you think the rear windshield was possibly replaced?

Yes it has rear defrost, says so in the options list! It came from the factory that way on the truck in the listing!

Ok cool! Not having the sliding rear window isn't a big deal for me, but the defroster/defogger is a must. That's one of the only things that bugged me about my XLT. I also like the black cloth and the fact that it doesn't have the factory nav system, that way, it'll be easier to set up my audio system the way I want. What do u think is a fair price for this truck? I can get a brand new fx4 from them for $1000 more, so there's no way I'm paying $35k

Yeah I wouldn't pay any where near $35,000 for that truck. Why not just spend the extra $1,000 and get a new FX4?

Spending the extra grand is an option, but if I can get this truck somewhere around $30k. Ill take this

Wait, so do all trucks with the solid rear window come with a rear defroster? Did my XLT just not have it cuz it was a base XLT? (My XLT had no sync or the 4.2 productivity screen in the dash)

No it's an option. I had to order it seperately from the solid rear glass.

It also says "Pass-Through Rear Seat". What does that mean? Looks like a generic feature list for cars and they checked everything.

Easy way to know if it has rear window defrost is the grid of horizontal lines on it.
