Does Ford use the cheapest clear pastic ever for the radio display?
I accidentally touched the radio display today and now it has a nice finger print scratch on the display, now normally a scratch doesn't bother me, but now when the sun is just right it makes it a PITA to read the display. Mean while my cell phone is in my pocket with my keys and not one scratch.

I've never heard of a finger print scratch. Are you sure it's just not a really thick finger print smudge?
I wonder if a cover plastic is available, like what you can get for Smartphones?

Yes, my hands were dirty comes with the job, Guess I shouldn't have said finger "print" scratches. It's just a scratch about 1/2" long finger width wide where I accidentally drug my finger acrossed it.

This is same display used in the mustang.
You are not the first with this problem I promise. It was all over the mustang forums a few months ago. If you touch it or try to clean it while any dust or dirt is present expect scratches. I have kept ours good by using canned air and blowing it clean before wiping it with a damp microfiber cloth. If you blow it off every couple of weeks you can avoid wiping it at all.
One guy over there created a fix and sold it for a while. He replaced the plastic with thin glass that he tinted with window film. Looked great and no way it would scratch after that. The process looked like a PITA because it has to come out of the dash for the fix.
It did work though. Here is the finished product in the video link
