Does anyone know how high my truck will be?
First post and long time lurker. I have a 2014 Ford F150 FX4 with appearance package. I am just about to order new wheels and tires.
Rough Country 3in lift kit
Fuel Vapor 20x9 +1 offset
BFG KO2 285/65/R20
Curious to see if anyone has a similar setup and what the end height of the truck is? Also did you have any issues with rubbing?

I'd skip that 3" thing from RC and go for a real lift kit, or don't bother at all. The last person who used that RC kit has had nothing but camber and alignment issues with it. Not knocking RC, I use their products myself and I'm happy with them but that kit screams "trouble".

my issue is i couldn't find another 3 in lift kit and 4 is too high for my parking garage. Most of the reviews were positive and I'm hoping that person is just a one off...i hope!

If an inch is going to make or break it, don't do it. Those wheels and tires will clear with a 2" level kit, and while not ideal it is certainly better than the 3".

i was told that those tires and wheels will not clear the 2.5" lift and i needed to go 3" or more.
Is that not the case? Does anyone here run a 2"-2.5" Lift with 285/65/r20s?
That seems to be the go to for 4" setups.

The other forum members are just trying to save you future issues from installing a 3in level. The 3in is a level, not a lift like the 4in. and drastically changes your suspension geometry. I think you need to research the effects of a 3in level and what it does to your CV’s and other suspension components before making this purchase.

Check out the tire size sticky as the top of the page (here's a link: https://www.f150forum.com/f38/tire-w...9-newer-68155/ ). A lot of the tire fitment is dependent on the wheel size (width/backspacing).

thanks JP that post is a HUGE help!!!
I already purchased the lift before the post but now I'm considering returning it.
Also I'm running those tires on 20x9 +1 offset Fuel Vapors..but that shouldn't make a difference.
