Does ANYONE even check these trucks when they are done being assembled?

Love all the union hate! Always funny to hear.
So would you rather have illegals building our trucks for $7 an hour? How bad do you think things would be then production wise? If it was that beneficial for the auto makers they would have found ways to separate from unions and set up shop elsewhere.
As with all industries there are clowns that will be clowns and not all union workers are like that. Union members have tremendous pride in their work.
These few trucks with problems are a drop in the bucket compared to the amount of trucks on the road that are sold.

All, keep in mind that OP and a couple of his young buddies on here keep making a lot of noise. Almost every day they post about what a POS their trucks are.
Now they have been dealt some crappy situations but now I think it's the "mountain out of a molehill" syndrome. They have some legitimate gripes but some are just to bitch and say how much their trucks suck!
Try driving a 73' super beetle! That will teach you to work on your own rig and to not sweat the little things!
I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but they seem more like spoiled brats the more they complain.
I truly wonder if they could ever be satisfied?

I have only had 2 issues when my truck was picked up the door stopper was missing and the SD Card for the nav was not there (probably stolen from the lot since it was the first 2013 that they had delivered there.). Besides that, the only other issues was MFT early on, but that has been rock solid...(i am actually scared to update it when a patch comes up). I have to agree with some of the posts around the amount of tech that is in the vehicles today. Yes they make or Trucks "mobile offices". But with that, there is a cost. Sometimes when the "stars are aligned" the program breaks. The other issue is with all the integrated modules. If something goes bad, you have to replace the whole module. Not easy trip to Autozone for a part. And it is not just Ford or F150's. My neighbor has a Mercedes Benz 2008 E550. It has had so many issues, mostly just after the warranty expired, it sits in his garage because he does not want to take the hit on a trade. He is a big dude and advised me to NEVER buy a Mercedes...I just wonder how the new S class with all the gizmos is going to favor. with all that said....I still bought the extended warranty a few weeks ago. (first time ever)

Gen Y aren't idiots they are instant gratification, I deal with them all the time in my line of work. If the dealer tells you to let them have the truck for a week that is not acceptable as you want it fixed now and won't stand to let them have it for a week because of XYZ.

I agree about the amount of pickups with problems being a tiny drop in the bucket though. The forums are obviously the place people go to get problems fixed/complain. Go on an ag forum and you'd wonder why anyone ever decides to farm

My biggest peeve with unions is that in most states you can be FORCED to join the union if you want a job. What a joke. And unions can't figure out why membership has steadily declined for the last 30 years and is at an all time low.
