Do You Have a Safety Net for your 2012 F150???
Ok guys for 5 years straight I have had Hail and fallen branch damage on my vehicles!!! Every two years I would buy a new truck and about a month after I would have a claim for hail and branch damage. Last year I had my truck done twice about 6 months apart so I decided to have the branches trimmed off the trees over the driveway and put up a net that covers both the new F150 and my Mustang GT. So a month ago I came out after a bad storm to find 3 branches laying on the net and not even a scratch on my vehicles. Just about 30 minutes ago we started to get another bad storm which is still going on now and I went out to check on things AND,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
This is what I see!!!

I do for my 2011. It's a garage. I'm also lucky enough that my parking for work is in a garage as well.

Exactly, I moved here for business after getting Divorced and have been wanting to relocate. So I can't wait to move later next year so I can get a place with a Nice Big 3 bay garage! All my mods and things have had to be done outside! I have a supercharger coming in next week and have to do that outside also!! It really sucks because I had a fantastic place before the divorce. On the good side I was getting ready to put in a lift when things went south on the marriage. So even though I have got stuck in the rain while doing some of my projects I still have a smile on my face cause I don't hear any complaining coming from behind me!!!

Even that isn't a fool proof system, one of my friends had a mint 68 GTX sitting in a garage and a tree came down and took out the garage and his mint GTX! Even so I would rather the odds of that happening compared to what I currently have!

Good save! I wish I had trees like that around my property. Living in old prairie land sucks sometimes.

I have a nice garage; it's long enough and wide enough, but I have to get the door to go up another two inches so I can stuff the truck into it. Now I understand why you see these new houses with three bays, and one is biggie-sized.

You can get close knit netting that will take care of the bird scrap! I don't have that much problem with that since I had the branches cut down over the driveway. once and a great while I will get a small spot. As for the hail? I am in central Pa. and up to 2 years ago the biggest hail I even saw was rice size. I had just bought a new truck and a month later we had quarter size hail and it dented the hood and top with about 300 nice size dents. That is why I bought the netting and I got it so rice hail would get through but nothing bigger. Since then I have had 2 other storms that produced that size hail and the net held it all back! If was funny though because the net is about 4 foot away from the top of the truck and when the hail came it all rolled to 3 areas and the weight lowered the net to about a foot above the truck! So far it has saved this truck twice and I just got it in April. My insurance always took care of the damage and only cost me 50 bucks deductable but it still bothered me that my new truck or Mustang was damaged. It has been worth the investment of about 150 bucks so far!
