Do I have a Back up Camera?
Hey!
2011 Ford F150 Lariat (Crew Cab)
Needing some help - trying to figure out if I have a backup camera. On my rear view mirror there are a bunch of wires coming from the ceiling going into the back of it, the back of the truck has proximity sensors, and the truck has pretty much everything else tech. wise (leather seats, heating/cooling seats, etc.) When I check the back of the truck I don't see a camera lens on the symbol or the handle or anything... The rear emblem is messed up (all scratched up and such).
What can I do to determine if I am wired up for the backup camera? And what should I do to fix it?

A buddy has a 2010 xlt without camera but has sensors. I’m assuming you don’t have it. If there’s no screen on the mirror or in the stereo and no camera in the oval I’d bet money all you have is the sensors.

If there is no camera on the back of the truck then you can't possibly have a back up camera. The wires going to the mirror is probably for the auto dimming feature.
