That is probably one of the most funniest things I've ever heard.

Default Deer Whistles Work

We have a serious deer infestation near my cottage; before getting whistles, every single time out in the truck, lots of close calls, after, not so many. I find that you have to be going at least 20mph to get enough air for them to work. It was the the exact same thing with the wifes car, she got her whistles a couple of months later and after a few white knuckle drives. A neighbour at the cottage is now a firm believer, he thought they were a waste of money, has hit a deer every year, last fall he finally has put them on, hasn't even come close in 1 yr.

I can't see how they could help. Trains hit deer all the time, semi's hit deer all the time. They make a lot of noise going down the road. I don't see how the tone of a $5 stick on thing could be accurate enough to really send a deer in the right direction.

Cited from the posted article for the lazy people haha

Until there is some solid evidence, other than personal testimonials, that deer whistles are effective, keep your money in your pocket.

^That might work!

Can't find a YouTube video of it
But 1:29:23 into Harry and the Hendersons might work better!...

Young people won't know what I'm talking about lol

But how much does a Bigfoot siren cost?
