Default Do all ecoboost **** when started

Every morning I start my truck it takes a leak. It really sounds like someone wizzing on the driveway
About a half a cup and it comes from the front half of the truck
first I figured it was condensation but why would it only do it first thing in the am.
Wheres it come from?
Whats going to happen when it freezes

Ha ha! If your truck is not gobbling up coolant don't worry about it. It is amazing how fast the exhaust on the EB engine starts steaming on cold start up - with mine it's like instantaneous. It's been a wee bit cold here in Houston and my FX4 starts steaming as soon as the start sequence is over. Talk about heating the exhaust system in hurry....

Mine doesn't. Pop your hood and try to see where it is coming from. However, I do agree if your coolant level is fine I wouldn't worry about it.

Probably the drain holes in the exhaust. And yes mine does, but not as much as you stated.

If you can use app called torque with a obo2 device you will see how fast the cats are warmed up. Like 1200 degrees within minutes at idle. Your going to see this condensation issue with the exhaust more so in the winter months as the extreme changes in the temperature from cold.

Which cat sensor are you using for that reading? Mine read anyware from 580-665 depending on which tune and drive cycle

I get quite a few puddles under the truck when idling. Most can be traced back to the exhaust system, a few puddles under the front end of the cab can get rather large when idling for long periods. I'm not too worried about it really.
