2012 EB stock. I tow a boat in the summer and a jeep in the winter. Jeep with the trailer and gear about 8000lb. I had to replace two coil packs and replaced the rad fan around 95k. It currently has around 104k and runs great. Just like N3UP says all brands have their issues, i know someone with a chevy 5.3 that has oiling problems and someone with a toyota that has blown the rear gears out when he tows. Not all EB are perfect but remember that the reputation of coyote motor isn't perfect either . I have been known to curse my EB when i have had problems but i love it 99.9% of the time ( most power I have ever had in a pickup )

LOL, I would take a dodge gas truck before I would recommend anyone buy a toyota. The WORST performing trucks in all categories with a price tag that could get you some of the highest trim levels of the competition.

If you are seriously looking for an F150 with the EB, go look for a 2014 MY. It is the last year of that generation, and they had all the bugs worked out with the design and the build quality(at least on the one I had) was excellent. I had two issues with mine, the passenger seat squeaked, but after a while it eventually stopped on it's own, and the remote start antenna needed to be relocated to improve range. Mine was an early 14 build, later builds had the antenna already moved.
Mine got wrecked 7 months ago last Friday and I really miss that truck, best truck I ever owned, and much more comfortable and better handling than the 16. It was RWD so it sat a little lower which helped. It was also very safe, I broadsided a 2004 F150 on an icy road @ 47 MPH and got a scrape on my shin and rib injury from the seat belt. The impact destroyed the front end, but the cabin was fully intact.
I did have one instance of water ingestion from the intercooler, but that was after 3 days of rain and a cool humid day, but it cleared quickly, I just kept my foot in it when it happened and kept going. It had 63K trouble free miles at its end.

We use 5.3 pickups at work, and none of them run as well as my mildly tuned 5.0, but even if they were the best truck in the universe I will never own another GM product, just because of the Government Motors takeover, and a friend of mine who lost $345,000 in GM stock value, while Obama gave everything to the UAW.
Yes, GM paid back the loans, BUT - the Treasury lost $10 billion dollars selling off their (our) stock, and GM Stockholders and Bondholders got screwed.
